Good afternoon. Let me start today's briefing.
Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Jina will attend the opening ceremony of the "2025 MIKTA Youth Dialogue" on Wednesday, July 23.
The event will be hosted by Korea, MIKTA Chair for this year, from July 23 to 25, bringing together 28 young people from the five MIKTA member states -- Mexico, Indonesia, Korea, Türkiye and Australia.
The participants will attend a mock MIKTA foreign ministers' meeting and special lectures by experts on "emerging technologies and the promotion of international peace," among others.
In her opening remarks, Vice Minister Kim will actively encourage the young people from the MIKTA member countries, who represent their respective regions and cultures, to take the opportunity to deliberate deeply on the common challenges of the global community and cultivate insights on those challenges.
