The City of Mission Viejo's Marines & Sailors Adoption Committee is partnering with Macy's September 15 through October 15 to show appreciation and support for the City's adopted service members from the Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division.
Throughout this month-long campaign, shoppers at Macy's Mission Viejo can make a meaningful difference simply by rounding up their in-store purchases. Customers can choose to round up their purchase by up to $0.99, with 100 percent of the funds raised going directly to the Marines & Sailors Adoption Committee to support programs benefiting Mission Viejo's adopted Marines and Sailors.
Donations help make a difference through programs and activities such as weekly care packages for deployed and local Marines and Sailors; the annual Day at Lake Mission Viejo event; welcome and baby baskets for service members and their families; quarterly Marine and Sailor recognition events; and visits and support for Marines recovering at the Wounded Warrior barracks.
Every round-up donation, no matter the amount, helps Mission Viejo continue its long-standing tradition of honoring, supporting and staying connected with the Marines and Sailors who serve our nation.
