LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from April 6-11. All work is weather permitting.
CLAY COUNTY
Route J between Route W and SW 200th St. (Clinton Co. line).: closed from Mon., April 7, until Thu., April 10, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.
JACKSON COUNTY
Interstate 670 westbound in downtown Kansas City: closed on Sun., April 6, from approximately 5 a.m. until 5 p.m. for maintenance work. Details: REMINDER: Closures scheduled for WB I-670 in downtown Kansas City, 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 6 | Missouri Department of Transportation
Interstate 470 southbound ramp to Colbern Rd.: ramp closed from Mon., April 7 until Wed., April 9, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day, for shoulder work.
Interstate 70 eastbound between Interstate 435 and Sterling Ave.: left lane closed on Tue., April 8 and Wed., April 9, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day, for barrier wall repair.
U.S. Highway 40 eastbound at Woods Chapel Rd.: left lane closed on Thu., April 10 and Fri., April 11, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day, for ditch work.
JOHNSON COUNTY
Missouri Highway 23 at various locations between Route CC and NE 310 Rd.: flagging operation on Mon., April 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for bridge flushing.
Route E at various locations between MO-23 and Missouri Highway 13: flagging operation on Tue., April 8, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for bridge flushing.
PETTIS COUNTY
Route HH between Missouri Highway 135 and Route O.: flagging operation from Wed., April 9 until Thu., April 10, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.
PLATTE COUNTY
Interstate 29 southbound near mile marker 28.2: right lane closed on Tue., April 8 and Wed., April 9, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day, for shoulder work.
SALINE COUNTY
Route BB at various locations between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 20: full closures from Mon., April 7 until Fri., April 11, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pipe replacement work.
Missouri Highway 240 between U.S. Highway 65 and Route O: flagging operation from Mon., April 7 until Fri., April 11, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
