Through 50 concise and accessible entries, Frawley explores how the meanings of these words have shifted over time. She offers new perspectives on Austen's world, giving readers the tools to better understand her novels individually and as a whole. Frawley's research interests include nineteenth-century British literature, social history and print culture.
