The Bridge the Arts Citywide Art Contest offers artists of all ages, including students, the opportunity to create original artwork that could be featured on one of the City's 4-by-6-inch bridge plaques. The initiative is designed to celebrate local talent while adding vibrant, community-inspired artwork to public spaces throughout DeSoto.
Whether you're an experienced artist, a student with a creative vision or someone who simply enjoys expressing your love for the community through art, the City encourages you to participate.

Residents interested in entering the contest are invited to attend a virtual information meeting to learn more about the project, contest guidelines and the submission process.

How to Participate
Participants are asked to create an original design using the City's official 4-by-6-inch art template. Completed artwork, along with the contest application, must be submitted by September 15, 2026.
