UPDATE: VCU, RPD postpone active shooter, SWAT team training
Due to the regional winter weather advisory and ongoing efforts to restore water production in the city of Richmond, VCU Police and Richmond Police are postponing active shooter training scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 8.
All scheduled road closures and parking restrictions are canceled along the 900 block of W. Franklin Street.
Once a new date is identified, officials will again update the VCU and Richmond community on impacts.
