Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Vienna Holds the First Heads of Mission Dialogue between China and the African Group[...]

On December 10,the Permanent Mission of Chinato the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Vienna heldthe first heads of Mission dialogue between China and the African Group on Multilateral Affairs in Vienna. Permanent representatives from all the 15 African countries with permanent missions in Vienna attended the dialogue.

Ambassador Li Song actively elaborated the significance of China's 15th Five-Year Plan for Africa's development and thefour major global initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping. He stated that Vienna is an important platform for demonstrating the spirit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, advancing pragmatic cooperation between China and Africa, and promoting international development cooperation benefiting the Global South. He expressed that China stands ready to work with African countries to contribute wisdom and strength to jointly leading the development and revitalization of the Global South, advancing modernization, and building a high-level China-Africa community with a shared future.

The dialogue was immersed in a warm and friendly atmosphere. All participants highly commended China's development achievements and China's important leading role on Vienna multilateral platforms, and expressed their hope for further dialogues. Participants were invited to watch the documentary Xi Jinping and His Young African Friendsand presented the volumes of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China".
