NCFE Undertaking October 2022

Ofqual has accepted an Undertaking from NCFE under B8 of the General Conditions of Recognition ("the Conditions").

NCFE has agreed to comply with an action plan to review its TQ core exam papers and mark schemes before the autumn 2022 series and to provide assurance to Ofqual that these assessments will be delivered by NCFE in compliance with its Conditions of Recognition.

This follows significant issues that Ofqual has identified with NCFE's core exam papers in the Health and Science T Level route, which were not fit for purpose as required by G9 of the Conditions. To avoid the risk of similar issues in NCFE's core exam papers in the Digital T Level and Education and Childcare T Level routes, this undertaking also applies to them.
