This information session will be hosted by Dr. Jeannie Pridmore. It is co-sponsored by the Center of Technology & Empowerment and the Honors College and is open to all students. Dr. Pridmore will address the following topics.

  1. Understanding AI detection technology.
  2. The False Positive Problem: Protecting yourself from wrongful accusations of AI misuse.
  3. The Academic Integrity Framework: When and how to use AI responsibly.
  4. Transparency is Key: Communicating with faculty and crafting effective AI disclosure statements.
  5. AI-Powered Research Tools that Support Learning: Legitimate AI tools that enhance, nor replace, scholarly work.
