Registration Opens for Winter/Spring Parks and Recreation Programs
Registration for Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Winter/Spring 2025-2026 programming opens this morning at 9a. The new Play CR guide is now available online at CityOfCR.com/2025PlayWinterSpring and highlights hundreds of activities for residents of all ages to enjoy from December through April.
Programs include youth and adult sports leagues, swimming lessons, arts and cultural activities, school break camps, fitness classes, volunteer opportunities, and seasonal events at parks and facilities across the city. Many offerings fill quickly, and residents are encouraged to register early to reserve a spot.
Residents can register online at CRRec.org, by phone at 319-286-5566, or in person at the Northwest Recreation Center, 1340 11th Street NW, or the Parks and Recreation Department in the City Services Center, 500 15th Avenue SW.
Income-based financial assistance is available through the RecAssist program, which provides a 50% discount on eligible swim passes and recreation programs for qualifying individuals and families. Learn more and apply at CityofCR.com/RecAssist.
