GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Most City of Grand Rapids offices are closed Tuesday, Nov. 11 in observation of Veterans Day; however, all Grand Rapids Public Library locations will remain open during regular operating hours.

City refuse, recycling and yard waste curbside collections will take place Nov. 11, as scheduled, with no delays. The City's yard waste drop-off site at 2001 Butterworth St. SW will be open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 11.

City Commission meetings that were originally scheduled for Nov. 11 have been cancelled. Instead, the City Commission will hold a special City Commission Fall Workshop at 8 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13. The workshop will air on Comcast Channel 26 and be live streamed on the City of Grand Rapids Facebook page and YouTube channel.

City offices will resume normal business hours Wednesday, Nov. 12.
