BGPD Announces Parking System Provider Transition to Begin Jan. 1

The City of Bowling Green Police Division will transition to a new parking ticket and permit services provider effective Jan. 1, 2026. All outstanding parking tickets and existing permits will be transferred automatically from Roker to Premium Parking. There is no action required from current permit holders at this time.

This change is administrative and is not expected to affect current parking operations or permit holders. Parking tickets will continue to be branded with the City of Bowling Green logo and will appear very similar to current tickets. Parking rules, enforcement practices and expectations will remain unchanged.

Motorists with outstanding parking tickets may continue to pay those tickets through the current payment system until Jan. 1. All permit and parking ticket payments, including unpaid tickets, will be processed through a new URL, which will be posted on the City's website at bowlinggreenpolice.org.

The City appreciates the public's patience during this transition and encourages residents and visitors to check the website for updated payment information as the changeover date approaches.
