(BROOME COUNTY, NY) - Due to the ongoing winter storm, all Broome County offices will open at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, January 26, 2026. A travel advisory remains in effect until noon on Monday, and residents are urged to continue avoiding unnecessary travel.
The Broome County Department of Social Services' after-hours emergency assistance line at (607) 778-3885 will be monitored and available until the office opens at noon.
The Broome County Sheriff's Office Civil, Identification and Records Divisions will be closed until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026. Morning visitation at the Broome County Correctional Facility will be closed from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., but regular visitation hours will resume at 1:00 p.m.
The Broome County Clerk's Office and both Binghamton and Endicott DMV locations will be open to the public beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26th, 2026. The mobile DMV will be closed but will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026.
