Now Open: ASPPH 2027 Excellence Awards Nominations

August 26, 2026

Nominations are now open for the ASPPH 2027 Excellence Awards, celebrating exceptional achievement across our academic public health community. These prestigious awards recognize individuals and teams whose dedication, leadership, and contributions are advancing the field and strengthening the communities we serve.

Across nine award categories, the Excellence Awards honor outstanding contributions in public health teaching, research, practice, community service, mentorship, student services, and more. From educators who inspire and support students to researchers advancing knowledge and colleagues strengthening connections with communities, the awards recognize the many ways individuals and teams are making a difference. Nominations are due Friday, October 9, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.

Think about the people whose work deserves to be recognized. A nomination is an opportunity to celebrate a colleague's accomplishments, highlight the impact of their work, and ensure their contributions receive recognition from the broader academic public health community. Self-nominations are also welcome.

Award recipients will be celebrated at the 2027 ASPPH Annual Meeting, where they will be recognized alongside peers and leaders from across academic public health.

We encourage you to take this opportunity to recognize the exceptional people and work that strengthen our community and advance public health.

Submit your nomination by Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT.
