Chinese Ambassador to North Macedoniar Jiang Xiaoyan Meets with President of the Government of North Macedonia

On February 4, 2026, H.E. Mme. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan met with Hristijan Mickoski, President of the Government of North Macedonia.

President of the Government Mickoski noted that the friendly relations between North Macedonia and China are based on mutual respect and mutual understanding. The Macedonian government reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the One-China Principle, stressing the fact there is only one China in the world. In recent years, exchanges and cooperation between the two countries across various fields have yielded fruitful results. The Macedonian side believes there is significant potential for further promoting bilateral cooperation for the benefit of both peoples, particularly through concrete projects and initiatives of mutual interest.

Ambassador Jiang stated that China stands ready to work with North Macedonia to consolidate the foundation of bilateral relations and cement the friendship between the two peoples. China will launch the 15th Five-Year Plan this year. Following this blueprint, China will continue to focus on high-quality development and expand high-level opening-up.
