The Italian Cultural Institute of Beijing has promoted Giulia Mazzoni's return to China with a series of special events marking a new phase in her artistic journey and in her connection with audiences in the East.
On 26 May, at the Auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute, the artist performed a concert entitled "Giulia Mazzoni is Back to China", organised in collaboration with Zhong Art International.
The opening event in Beijing will be followed by several other performances, with the Florentine artist taking centre stage in an intense musical and cultural dialogue. On 29 May, an exclusive concert will take place in Tianjin at the striking Yun-Gui Pavilion, a refined cultural and architectural venue in the city. The artist will also perform on 31 May at the well-known Beijing venue 024. Finally, Giulia Mazzoni will perform on 1 June at the Embassy of Italy, as part of the celebrations for the Italian Republic Day.
The Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing, Federico Roberto Antonelli, stated that this initiative represents only the first step in a collaborative path between Italy and China, which is set to continue throughout autumn 2026.
