TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - I-95/Rt 896 Interchange Upcoming Closures
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces there will be daytime lane closures on I-95 southbound for concrete demolition (Mon. - Thu.). There will be an overnight lane closure on northbound I-95 and the southbound Rt 896 to northbound I-95 on-ramp for barrier wall work (Mon.). There will be overnight southbound I-95 multi-lane closures (Mon. - Thu.) and EZPass Lane closures (Wed. and Thu.) for milling and paving. There will be overnight lane closures on northbound and southbound Rt 896 for pavement striping (Mon. - Thu.). There will be overnight lane closures on northbound and southbound Rt 72 for bridge work (Mon. - Thu.).

· Monday, May 4th through Thursday, May 7th: Daytime Lane Closure, Southbound I-95, from the Welcome Center to Rt 896 Interchange (5AM - 3PM)
· Monday, May 4th: Overnight Lane Closure, Northbound I-95, Toll Plaza to the Welcome Center (5PM - 6AM)
· Monday, May 4th: Overnight Lane Closure, Southbound Rt 896 onto Northbound I-95 on - ramp (7PM - 7AM)
· Monday, May 4th through Thursday, May 7th: Overnight Multi-lane Closure, Southbound I-95, from the Welcome Center to the Toll Plaza:
o Monday, May 4th: Welcome Center to Rt 896 Interchange (Double Lane 7PM, Triple Lane 10PM - 6AM)
o Tuesday, May 5th: Welcome Center to Rt 896 Interchange (Double Lane 7PM, Triple Lane 10PM - 6AM)
o Wednesday, May 6th: Rt 896 Interchange to the Toll Plaza (Double Lane 7PM, Triple Lane 10PM - 6AM). EZPass lanes closed.
o Thursday, May 7th: Rt 896 Interchange to the Toll Plaza (Double Lane 7PM, Triple Lane 10PM - 6AM). EZPass lanes closed.
