ROUNDUP: Governor Phil Murphy Lays Out Bold Agenda to Keep Delivering for New Jersey Families in Final Year in Office
On Tuesday, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy gave his penultimate State of the State address, outlining his top priorities in his final year in office, and his pledge to continue getting results for New Jersey families on the issues they care most about, including bringing down the costs of housing and childcare, investing in education, and strengthening reproductive rights.
Since he took office, Governor Murphy has delivered for working families - increasing the minimum wage and cutting taxes for veterans, seniors, and middle-class families, protecting and expanding fundamental freedoms, and keeping New Jersey communities safe. Now, as New Jersey voters prepare to choose their next governor, they have a clear choice: continuing to move forward with a new Democratic governor who will work to protect rights and make life better for Garden State residents, or backsliding into chaos, extremism and partisan fights under a Republican.
