Hurricane Season Be Prepared

Hurricane season doesn't end until November 30th. Just a reminder to continue to be vigilant and visit www.ppines.com/hurricane under Pembroke Pines Prepared before a storm to gather information, print out lists, view videos and continue to be prepared. A special section on the city's website at www.ppines.com/hurricaneupdates will be activated when there is a hurricane or tropical storm to inform residents of closings, alerts, etc. The city's emergency hotline phone number, 954-565-9571, will only be activated when the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) goes to a Level 2 - partial activation, or a Level 1 - full activation. This phone number allows residents to report or ask questions relevant to the hurricane on topics such as mandatory evacuations, shelter information, road closures etc. We also encourage residents to follow the City of Pembroke Pines' social media sites on Facebook, (X) Twitter, Instagram and Next Door to get up to the minute information, as well as tune in to local news and radio stations for the latest updates.
