Green Avenue/Troy Drive - Sanitary Sewer & Asphalt Replacement Project
Starting the week of March 30, 2026, Speedway Sand and Gravel will begin work on the Green Avenue/Troy Drive Sanitary Sewer and Asphalt Replacement Project.
Key Project Objectives:
- Remove and replace all the asphalt pavement along Troy Drive/Green Avenue from Lerdahl Road to Sauthoff Road, with additional spot replacements of curb, gutter, and sidewalk
- Install a new sanitary sewer main from Lerdahl Road to Pine View Drive to relieve an existing, aging sanitary sewer force main in the area.
Full closure of Green Ave/Troy Dr will be in effect from Sauthoff Rd to Lerdahl Rd. Only local traffic and access to the Mendota Hospital will be maintained. Sidewalks will be maintained, on at least one side of the street, throughout the project. Metro Transit will detour from the area during the closure.
The project is anticipated to be substantially completed by July 2026.
