City of Sparks Selects New Artist for City Hall Gallery

Sparks, NV - The City of Sparks has selected a new artist to be featured in the Sparks City Hall Gallery. The gallery features art that rotates biannually in the foyer of Sparks City Hall.
The space showcases art from Sparks residents to express the City's pride and appreciation for artists living in the Sparks community. Art featured in the gallery space is available for purchase by contacting the artist directly.
The Sparks City Hall Gallery is currently featuring the work of artist Louis Basso. Louis was born and raised in Nevada and has pursued photography his entire life. He has a passion for the people and open spaces of the West, the light and ever-changing landscapes of Nevada, and the Sierras in particular. Louis is a contributing photographer for the Reno Rodeo and has created several covers for the Reno Rodeo Magazine, and this year, Louis was chosen to create the 2026 Reno Rodeo Limited Artwork Poster.
Louis Basso's work will be featured in the gallery space beginning Monday, March 23, through the end of August. A new artist will be selected and featured in the gallery space beginning in September 2026. A call for artists will be sent out in early August.
