On 1 July 2026, the European Board for Digital Services (the Board) convened in Brussels for its 19th regular meeting.
The Board adopted its second annual report pursuant to Article 35(2) DSA on the most recurring and prominent systemic risks. This report is a key element of the Digital Services Act's risk-based architecture and provides a structured and evidence-based overview of the systemic risks that can result from the design or functioning of very large online platforms and services and the use of their services. In addition, it shared updates on the latest enforcement activities by Digital Services Coordinators (DSCs) and the Commission. The Board also reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring data access for qualified researchers.
