Zyxel Networks launches XS1935 series to remove network bottlenecks for growing SMBs

HSINCHU, Taiwan, September 16, 2026-Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure and AI-powered cloud networking solutions, today announced the XS1935 series of 10G Multi-gigabit Lite-L3 Smart Managed Switches. The new series gives small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) the performance needed for high-bandwidth devices, while providing room to expand as network requirements scale.

Slow file transfers, stalled backups, lag during multi-user access and buffering security camera footage can all disrupt day-to-day work. In many cases, the problem is not the latest server, WiFi access point or camera, but an older network switch that cannot keep pace with newer connected devices. The XS1935 series helps SMBs remove that bottleneck while bringing advanced enterprise-class capabilities to a more accessible budget.

Eliminating bandwidth bottlenecks

The XS1935 series gives SMBs the bandwidth to keep up with demanding network traffic. This has been made achievable through:

  • Full 10G capacity: Every port delivers ultra-fast speeds of up to 10G for data-intensive operations and modern workflows, and supports devices including WiFi 7 access points, high-performance servers, NAS/storage systems, professional AV-over-IP devices and AI multi-camera appliance for smart cities. The compact 10- and 12-port designs give SMBs capacity suited to their needs without paying for unnecessary scale.
  • An all-fiber option: The XS1935-12F provides 10G fiber connectivity across every port. SMBs can use it for network aggregation or longer-distance connections without moving to a larger enterprise switch.

Supporting power-intensive devices

As newer network devices demand more than just bandwidth, they also require more power, which can quickly stretch the limits of older PoE switches.

  • PoE++ with up to 90W per port: A total power budget of 400W supports devices such as WiFi 7 access points, PTZ cameras, smart IoT devices and video conferencing systems. Delivering power and network connectivity through the same cable also reduces cabling requirements and simplifies deployment.

Giving growing networks more flexibility

SMBs can start with the network capabilities they need today, while retaining the option to add more advanced capabilities as their networks grow. This is possible thanks to:

  • Flexible management with NebulaFlex: Users can switch between standalone management and Zyxel Networks' Nebula cloud management at any time, combining local control with the option for centralized remote management.
  • Lite-L3 network control: Features including VLAN, Quality of Service (QoS), link aggregation and L3 static routing help businesses manage traffic, segment networks and maintain performance.
  • Upgrade when needed: Advanced L3 routing and NetworkedAV mode for professional AV-over-IP deployments can be unlocked through an additional Access L3 License. Businesses can add these capabilities without replacing their switch or buying more hardware than they currently need.

Eco-conscious packaging

Small changes can make a difference. The XS1935 series also introduces new eco-conscious packaging to reduce the environmental impact of network upgrades.

  • Lower packaging carbon emissions: Carbon emissions associated with the packaging have been reduced by 30%1 compared with the previous generation.

"Small businesses should not have to replace their entire network just because a switch has become the weak link," said Kell Lin, Senior Associate Vice President of Zyxel Networks' Networking Strategic Business Unit. "The XS1935 series gives them the 10G performance needed to get more from the technology they already rely on, with the flexibility to add new devices and capabilities as the business grows. It means they can invest for what they need now, while knowing their network is ready for what comes next."

The XS1935 series comprises of three models, including the XS1935-12F, XS1935-10 and XS1935-12HP. For more information about product availability, please visit https://www.zyxel.com/global/en/products/switch/xs1935-series
