Fry Street Fair Road Closures

Denton, TX - May 15, 2025 - This weekend, the Fry Street Fair returns to Denton on May 16 and 17, 2025. In conjunction with the event, parking restrictions and road closures with detours will be in place around the festival area.

The following street closures and detours will be in effect from 8 a.m. on Friday, May 16, to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 17.

Closure Details:

  • Avenue A between W Hickory Street and W Mulberry Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic.
  • W Mulberry Street between Avenue A and S Welch Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

Detour signs and instructions will be posted prominently with electronic signage along the affected routes.

All street closures and listed times are subject to change based on evolving or unexpected conditions. The public should adhere to posted parking restrictions and utilize designated public parking locations or ride share services.

Due to an increased pedestrian presence, motorists could encounter delays in the vicinity of the event and may wish to consider alternative routes. Businesses located within the footprint of the event will remain open per their normal business hours.

The festival promises a vibrant celebration of local culture, art, and music. We thank the community and visitors for their cooperation and look forward to the return of this event.
