Crans Montana: appeal lodged against the rejection of the application to join the proceedings as a civil party
Italy has already lodged an appeal against the order of 29 July which rejected the Italian government's application to join the proceedings as a civil party in the legal case concerning the Crans Montana disaster. Through the Swiss lawyer representing the Italian interests, a detailed and well-structured appeal has been lodged, which refutes all the arguments put forward by the Swiss judge of the court that are not accepted and which are also superseded in the light of the case law of the European Court of Human Rights; it is therefore insisted that the civil claim be admitted.
