Colee Hammock Asphalt Improvement Project

The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with M & M Asphalt Maintenance Inc. to resurface the following streets south of E. Las Olas Boulevard in Colee Hammock:

• Tarpon Drive
• Tarpon Terrace
• Brickell Drive
• SE 15th Avenue
• SE 16th Avenue
• SE 17th Avenue
• SE 4th Street
• Alley between SE 4th Street and E. Las Olas Boulevard

This project includes:

• Milling and resurfacing asphalt
• Applying new pavement markings

Construction will begin on Monday, March 30, 2026, and is expected to be completed on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Work will take place daily between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Impacts

• Neighbors are asked to refrain from parking along the work areas daily between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
• One lane in each direction of each of the streets within the project limits will be closed during work hours. Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
• Access to driveways will be maintained unless work is taking place in the immediate area across from the driveway. Crews will attempt to coordinate with neighbors prior to the start of asphalt operations that will impact driveway access.
• Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
