Denver's Department of Technology Services plays the pivotal role of implementing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the city. To recognize these efforts, Technology Services, in partnership with other city agency GIS professionals and regional partners, will hold its 24th annual GIS Day celebration on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. virtually on Microsoft Teams.
This year's event highlights the vital role GIS plays across various city agencies and departments. Attendees will see a wide range of GIS products, tools, and applications used daily for safety, public health, climate action, and natural resource management. The event will feature a fast-paced series of moderated lightning talks with Q&A for each speaker, providing a dynamic look at current Denver projects.
