Minot State invites students to Preview Day

MINOT, N.D. - Minot State University invites high school students to see if MSU is the right fit for you. Minot State's 2026 Preview Day is a chance to explore campus, discover majors and programs, find out the next steps in the admissions process, and enjoy a free meal.

MSU Preview Day 2026 is Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., and attendees are invited to stay on campus following the event to cheer on the Beaver basketball teams at the Minot State Dome starting at 3:30 p.m.

"Preview Day is a chance for prospective students to get to know Minot State. During this event, our staff and faculty will share information about the admission process, support services, campus life, and academic programs," said Liz Krebsbach, visit and events coordinator in MSU Enrollment Services. "Our visitors will be given a student-led tour of campus, which includes many academic buildings, athletic facilities, and an exclusive showing of one of our suite-style residence halls. If anyone is considering attending Minot State in the future, Preview Day is an excellent place to start the process."

Prospective students can register online at Minot State's Preview Day website. Check-in for the event will be from 9:30-9:45 a.m. in the Student Center Atrium. A campus resource fair is set for 12:15-1:15 p.m.

There will be multiple academic program sessions helping to explain various degrees students can pursue at Minot State, including behavioral sciences and criminal justice; business; communication sciences and disorders; education and inclusive services; fine and performing arts; humanities, social sciences, and interdisciplinary studies; math, data, and technology; nursing; and science.

Following the event, students attending Preview Day are invited to MSU women's and men's basketball against Northern State University at the Minot State Dome. The women's game is set for 3:30 p.m., with the men to follow at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free to all students attending Preview Day.

All information regarding admission, including visits, cost, scholarships, and application, can be found on the Minot State admissions and aid website.
