FDNY Adds 39 Names to Memorial Wall for Deaths Related to World Trade Center Illnesses

The FDNY will add the names of 39 members who died of illnesses related to their work in the rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center to the FDNY World Trade Center Memorial Wall. The outdoor ceremony will take place on Tuesday, September 9, at 4 p.m. at FDNY Headquarters - 9 MetroTech Center in Brooklyn. The ceremony can be viewed live on the Department's website at https://www.nyc.gov/FDNY or HERE.

The Department has lost more than 400 members to World Trade Center illnesses.
