Josh Riley’s base problem isn’t going away

Josh Riley's base problem isn't going away

September 16, 2025

Out of touch Democrat Josh Riley has a serious problem with his own base, and it's not going away.

Voters have become so outspoken against Riley that just this week, an event Riley spoke at was cut short because "about 35 protestors interrupted the congressman's remarks." And this isn't the first time it's been a problem: A panel discussion Riley was supposed to be a part of recently was cancelled due to potential protests.

It's no surprise that Riley has lost support on all sides: He claimed he'd be a district-first politician, but since coming to Congress he's proved to be a sleazy politician as he'll do or say anything just to squeeze out a vote.

"Democrat Josh Riley is so out of touch with New Yorkers, he's focused on raising taxes, letting criminals run free, and funneling taxpayer-funded handouts to illegal immigrants, instead of fighting for his constituents. It's no wonder New Yorkers on all sides are done with him." - NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O'Toole
