PRESENTATION OF LETTERS OF CREDENCE BY FOREIGN HEADS OF MISSION TO MALAYSIA AT THE NATIONAL PALACE

His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia received the Letters of Credence of seven (7) Foreign Heads of Mission to Malaysia at a ceremony on 18 May 2026 at the National Palace.

The envoys are two (2) resident Foreign Heads of Mission, namely H.E. Mr. Dharshana Mahendra Perera, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka and H.E. Mr. Majid Halim, Ambassador of Morocco as well as five (5) non-resident Foreign Heads of Mission, namely H.E. Mr. Zada Seidou, Ambassador of the Republic of Niger (residing in New Delhi, India); H.E. Mr. Dudley McKinley Thomas, Ambassador of the Republic of Liberia (residing in Beijing, People's Republic of China); H.E. Ms. Nubiela Yanarith Ayala, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama (residing in Hanoi, Viet Nam); H.E. Mr. Fernando Miguel, Ambassador of the Republic of Angola (residing in Hanoi, Viet Nam) and H.E. Ms. Ivana Golubović-Duboka, Ambassador of Serbia (residing in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia).

The ceremony was also attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, YB Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, and the Deputy Secretary General of Bilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, YBhg. Dato' Syed Mohd Hasrin bin Tengku Hussin.

The ceremony reflects Malaysia's continued effort to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation with friendly nations, in the spirit of mutual respect, shared interests, and the promotion of regional and global peace, security and prosperity.
