Summer Youth Employment and Training
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program is designed for youth ages 17-22 that are residents of the City of Shreveport. The Summer Youth Employment and Training Program will be a six-week program running from June 2, 2025 through July 11, 2025. Students, ages 17-22, will be required to work 30 hours per week. Student workers will earn $10 per hour.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Submit the completed application. Please submit documents once selected for interview.
If called for an appointment the following documents are required:
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- State Driver's License or ID Card
- School Record or Report Card
- Resume
- Utility Bill (Proof of Mailing Address)
- Direct Deposit Form (From Banking Institution)

Submitting an application to the Summer Youth Employment Training Program DOES NOT guarantee you a summer job.
