UMGC Alumnus Shares Capstone Research with Community

Alexander Staton, a 2025 UMGC graduate, returned to share his capstone project, "Soviet POWs: Testimonies from the Camps," at a History Student Society event. Drawing from firsthand accounts, Staton explored the lived experiences of Soviet prisoners during World War II with the goal of deepening understanding of a rarely discussed chapter in world history.
