State of Delaware Announces 10 a.m. Opening for Kent and Sussex Counties on February 24, 2026

Severe Weather Conditions & Emergencies Alert

On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, State of Delaware offices in Kent and Sussex Counties will open at 10 a.m. Non-essential employees who live or work in Kent or Sussex Counties do not report until 10 a.m. Essential employees designated for severe weather are to report as scheduled. State of Delaware offices in New Castle County will operate on their regular schedule.

All driving restrictions have been lifted statewide effective at 8 a.m. today.
