Memorial Day 2026: A Day of Remembrance

Memorial Day is observed annually on the last Monday in May to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. We wish you and your loved ones a safe, meaningful, and restful Memorial Day.​

In recognition of Memorial Day, TTB offices will be closed on Monday, May 25.

SUMMARY: The Department of Justice (DOJ), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), will be submitting the following new information collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.

Date: ATF encourages comments on this information collection. You may submit written comments until midnight on July 17, 2026.

Revised Date for the 2026 Trade and Cargo Security Summit

ACTION: Notice of revised date for the 2026 Trade and Cargo Security Summit.

SUMMARY: This document announces that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has postponed the 2026 Trade and Cargo Security Summit (TCSS) in Dallas, TX, from April 28-30, 2026, to September 8-10, 2026. The 2026 TCSS will be open for the public to attend in person or via webinar. The 2026 TCSS will feature CBP personnel, members of the trade community, and members of other government agencies in panel discussions on CBP's role in international trade initiatives and programs. Members of the international trade and transportation communities and other interested parties are encouraged to attend.

DATES: Tuesday, September 8, 2026 (opening remarks and general sessions, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. CDT), Wednesday, September 9, 2026 (breakout sessions, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. CDT), and Thursday, September 10, 2026 (breakout sessions, 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. CDT).
