Nominations are open for 2026 Presidential Scholar Awards

2025 Presidential Scholars
Each year Western honors the high achievements of graduating students through the Presidential Scholar Awards, showcasing graduates' exceptional scholarship and their service to the university and the community.
Any faculty can nominate a student who is graduating in the 2025-26 academic year. Nominees must be exceptional in three categories:
- Accomplished scholars.
- Demonstrated success in furthering multicultural programs and activities.
- Achieved levels of service to the community that have benefited their peers, their departments and the community.
Presidential Scholars will wear their award medallions and be recognized at June Commencement.
