Congresswoman Luz Rivas Votes to Proceed with Impeachment Proceedings Against Donald Trump

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Luz Rivas (CA-29) released the following statement after voting to proceed with impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump:

"The President needs to be held accountable for ICE's actions and this Administration's abuses of power. I voted to proceed on the process to impeach Donald Trump and protect immigrant communities like mine in the San Fernando Valley from ICE's terror. ICE has been violently and unlawfully carrying out Donald Trump's anti-immigrant agenda and must be abolished."
