CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Aug. 21, 2026) - Charlotte County Economic Development is highlighting Jordan Ingman through its 40 Under 40 feature, part of the Careers on the Coast program. The program shares the stories of young professionals who are building careers, businesses and community connections in Charlotte County.
Ingman is a Charlotte County native, Port Charlotte High School graduate and head football coach at his alma mater. After high school, he played football at Wofford College and later served as a graduate assistant with Auburn University football before returning home to Port Charlotte High School.
Beyond football, Ingman helps prepare students for life after graduation through coaching, mentoring and Next Steps, a career-readiness program for senior football players. The program connects students with local professionals and introduces career pathways including skilled trades, public safety, military service, entrepreneurship, college and direct employment. Next Steps is entering its fourth year and has served roughly 75 students.
Ingman's story reflects the role young professionals play in strengthening Charlotte County's workforce, business community and sense of place. Through 40 Under 40, Charlotte County Economic Development highlights professionals who are choosing to grow, lead and build in Charlotte County.
