The European Union is hosting a free one-day seminar in Almaty on 1 July 2026 to support companies operating in Kazakhstan in navigating issues related to EU restrictive measures and sanctions.

Many Kazakh and international companies operating in Kazakhstan face challenges related to EU restrictive measures and sanctions. To assist businesses in navigating this complex regulatory landscape, the European Union is hosting a free, one-day seminar in Almaty on 1 July 2026.

The event is organised by the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) in Astana, which will also manage participant registration.

Target Audience

The seminar is designed for:

  • Kazakh and foreign companies active in Kazakhstan

  • Chambers of commerce (both local and international)

  • Colleagues from EU Member State (EUMS) Embassies in Astana and EUMS Consulates in Almaty

Participation Options

Attendees may join in person or online.
