Agriculture and Fisheries Council, 27 April 2026

Ministers will discuss the role of agriculture and forest management in preventing wildfires, the post-2027 CAP proposals, and the current market situation.

Economic and Financial Affairs Council, 5 May 2026

Among other items on the agenda, ministers are expected to agree on new rules to help fight value added tax (VAT) fraud in the EU. The Council will also hold a policy debate on the market integration and supervision package - a key part of the EU's saving and investment union.
