Government Delegation of Kazakhstan visits the SCO Secretariat's Headquarters in Beijing
On March 31, 2026, Aida Balayeva, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the SCO Secretariat in Beijing within her working visit to China.
During a meeting with SCO Secretary-General Nurlan Yermekbayev the parties discussed relevant items on the Organization's agenda in the areas of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, education, information, and youth exchanges. Special attention was paid to the upcoming celebration of the 25th anniversary of the SCO's establishment, as well as the participation of the Kazakh side in events under Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship.

Aida Balayeva also toured the Secretariat's facilities including the "Astana" hall, which was renovated in 2025 with the support of the Kazakh side.
