On Oct. 2, 2026, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) posted Requests for Applications (RFAs) for two grant opportunities under the second year of the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) in Kansas. KDHE will accept applications for the Regional Partnership Grant Program and the Transformative Capital Investment Grant Program through Nov. 13. Opportunities are open to eligible Kansas organizations.
The Kansas Health Institute (KHI) will manage technical assistance for organizations applying for RHTP funding. KHI and its partners will also support grantees, including current awardees from previous RHTP funding opportunities, as they meet reporting requirements.
