DCMA chief of staff remembers Sept. 11

FORT LEE, Va. -

Ryan Kidd, Defense Contract Management Agency chief of staff, remembers Sept. 11 and reflects on how that day affected him personally and our national defense efforts.

"I was a student and an intern at DLA. At that point it was just a job. But over the coming days and weeks, that job became a calling. And since that moment on, it's more than just a job, more than just a career, it's a calling and opportunity to serve, and take great pride in that."
