PEG Companies Announces Completion of Significant Property Upgrades and Appointment of New Leadership at Courtyard by Marriott Ogden

PEG Companies and its management company, PEG Hospitality Group, today announced the completion of a $3 million HVAC system replacement at Courtyard by Marriott Ogden, along with the appointment of new General Manager Pascal Begin and Executive Chef Zachary Dobbins, marking a new chapter of innovation and elevated guest experiences.

The HVAC upgrade represents a significant advancement in guest comfort and operational efficiency. The new high-efficiency system delivers improved climate control, greater flexibility, and enhanced sustainability. Unlike the previous system, which allowed only heating or cooling at one time, the upgraded system provides greater flexibility to respond to seasonal weather changes and guest comfort needs throughout the hotel. This improvement is especially valuable during the fall and spring months, when fluctuating temperatures previously made consistent room comfort more difficult. In addition to improving the guest experience, the replacement upgrades core property systems with more reliable and energy-efficient equipment.

This investment builds on a $3.5 million renovation of guest rooms and meeting space completed in 2024, bringing total recent reinvestment in the property to $6.5 million. These improvements have further strengthened the hotel's role as a leading venue for conferences, events, and community gatherings in Ogden.
