JEFFERSON CITY, Mo - T he Fly Creek Bridge on Missouri Route 42 re open ed today , Thurs day, Ju l y 2 , 2026, wrapping up a project that rehabilitated four Maries County bridges over the past year. Two bridges on Route AA and two on Route 42, all built in the 1960s , have supporting structures in good condition, but the bridges decks - or driving surfaces - were in need of replacement.
MoDOT contracted with Louis-Company, LLC to complete th ese four bridge rehabilitations , which began in September 2025 .
