Meeting with Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, Archbishop of Vienna

On January 7th, Archbishop of Vienna, Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, received at his residence the Ambassador of Armenia to Austria, Andranik Hovhannisyan, and Bishop Tiran Petrosyan, Patriarchal Delegate of the Armenian Apostolic Church for Central Europe and Scandinavia.

The interlocutors exchanged best wishes on the occasion of the Christmas, and highlighted the historical-cultural ties and close traditional relationship between Armenia and Austria.

The Ambassador thanked the Cardinal for his warm attitude and support towards the Armenian community.

Views were exchanged on various international and regional issues. Ambassador Hovhannisyan informed Cardinal Schönborn about the current developments in the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
