The City Council meeting schedule for 2026 was approved at the council meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 30, and will be published to the City's website ahead of the new year.
What's new: The schedule consists of 49 scheduled City Council meetings broken out into daytime and evening sessions. See the full list of council meetings: RESOLUTION-2026-Scheduled-Council-Calendar-of-Meetings-2.pdf(PDF, 973KB)
In addition, the schedule also includes six budget workshops for City Council on the following dates:
For residents attending council meetings, the City has various benefits to accommodate visitors.
Free parking: The City provides free parking for residents. Parking is available at City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail (directly in front of City Hall), or behind City Hall in the back area adjacent to West Fifth Street and Forest Park Boulevard.
How to sign up to speak at council meetings: Once the agenda is posted to the City's website on the Thursday prior to the meeting, speakers must register no later than two hours before the start of the meeting for both day and evening meetings.
