By election result Whickham North ward

Susan Craig, candidate for the Liberal Democrat Party has won the by-election for the Whickham North ward, which took place today (Thursday 24 October), with a majority of 617 votes.
The by-election was called following the resignation of Councillor Sonya Hawkins.
The turnout for the election was 23%.
