Extreme Heat Warning: The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Heat Advisory for Costa Mesa, beginning Thursday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. through Saturday, Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. The Senior Center, public libraries, community centers, and other public government buildings are considered cooling centers during normal business hours. On Saturday, Oct. 17, the Costa Mesa Senior Center will be open as a cooling center from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
