On October 29, 2025 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, President of the Institute for Political and International Studies, Saeed Khatibzadeh.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on topical issues of the development of Belarusian-Iranian cooperation. The parties noted the two countries' commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation, as well as the need to further intensify political, trade and economic contacts.
The constructive nature of cooperation between the parties on international platforms was emphasized. Interest was expressed in the exchange of experience between analytical structures in the field of foreign policy.
S.Khatibzadeh stressed the importance of holding such dialogue forums as the high-level conference "Eurasian Security: Reality and Prospects in a Transforming World" in the context of modern geopolitical turbulence. The interlocutors noted the convergence of the positions of Minsk and Tehran on key aspects of the multilateral Eurasian agenda.
